To begin, launch the Florida Smart Wallet Reader app on your device. Next, choose the type of verification you need, whether it's age, proof of identity, or law enforcement, and decide if you'd like to proceed using a QR code or NFC.
- For QR code, scan the QR code displayed on the individual's device.
- For NFC, hold your device to theirs.
From there, the individual will select the information they want to share with you on their device. Once shared successfully, the verified details will appear on your Florida Smart ID Verifier screen.
- Businesses will see the individual's license or ID photo along with confirmation that they are over 18 or 21.
- Law enforcement will receive the driver's license information directly on their device.
