Required Items
- Device with the FL Smart Wallet app.
- Your FL Smart ID is accessible only on the device where it was created and cannot be used on multiple devices.
- Bluetooth turned on for FL Smart Wallet.
Important
- The share session ends after 3 minutes unless extended.
Instructions
1. To verify yourself to law enforcement with your FL Smart Wallet, tap Share at the bottom and use your device’s biometrics to continue.
2. A QR code will appear for the officer to scan or hold your phones back-to-back to continue.
3. After scanning, the Request from reader page appears. Select the credentials to share, then tap Review credentials. A green check mark confirms your selection.
4. On the Review credentials page under Smart ID, choose the details to send to the law enforcement agent, then tap Send to reader.
- Your photo is mandatory and cannot be deselected.
5. You'll see Sending credentials... and Waiting for reader... screens including the credentials being sent.
- Tap End session to cancel anytime.
6. After successful sharing, the Credentials sent page appears. Tap End session to return to your wallet.
Additional Information
1. If it takes more than 2 minutes, you can tap Add Time or End Session.
2. If time runs out and you haven't finished or added more time, choose Try Again or Go Back.
- Try Again lets you rescan the QR code.
- Go Back returns you to your wallet.
3. If you tap Review credentials without selecting your Smart ID on the Request from reader page, you'll see this message:
- Sharing your portrait photo is required to verify your age. Tap Approve Photo to share or End Share Session to cancel.
