The Florida Smart Wallet app can be accessed and utilized for verification purposes while not being connected to wi-fi or cellular service if you've previously loaded your Smart ID on your device.
- The sharing feature of the Florida Smart Wallet relies primarily on Bluetooth, so as long as it's enabled on your device, you can verify your identity using your Smart ID.
NOTE: While you can use your previously loaded Smart ID offline, updating it will require you to reconnect to wifi or cellular service.
